I Sepik nascono nel 2016 a Ceccano (Italia) dalle ceneri dei Sanitarium con Federico Catozi alla voce e chitarra ('94), Matteo "Matteo Panec" Panecaldo al basso ('93), Francesco Minotti alla chitarra ('94) e Stefano Catozi alla batteria ('96). I componenti della band hanno all'attivo, per il momento, circa 60 date live negli ultimi 3 anni anche insieme con band di calibro come Marta Sui Tubi, Strength Approach, Neid, Tear Me Down, Dewfall etc., due EP in studio (Demo 2013 e Trapped In The Crowd), dal quale è stato estratto il singolo "Silence Of The World", pubblicato su YouTube dal canale "BlankTV" e fanno parte del CD compilation "Ceccano Brucia", realizzato da "Fiume In Piena", con la canzone "Seventh".
Il 22 novembre 2016 pubblicano il primo demo sotto il nome di "Sepik", "Ritual Mask", composto da tre brani. A giugno 2019 Simone Mantua entra come nuovo chitarrista della band, sostituendo il vecchio chitarrista. Nel novembre 2019 firmano con la Warhell Records. Il 18 dicembre 2019 è stato rilasciato il primo videoclip “Static Writhing” (regia di Matteo “Panec” Panecaldo e distribuzione di BlankTV), pubblicato sy YouTube dal canale “BlankTV”. Il 15 gennaio 2020 è stato rilasciato il primo full length "Sepik", registrato da Federico Garofali al "Squaring The Circle Studio", sotto l'etichetta Warhell Records.

Sepik were born in 2016 in Ceccano (Italy) from the ashes of Sanitarium with Federico Catozi on vocals and guitar ('94), Matteo "Matteo Panec" Panecaldo on bass (’93) and Stefano Catozi to the battery ('96). The band members have, for the time being, about 60 live dates in the last 3 years, also along with such bands as Marta Sui Tubi, Strength Approach, Neid, Tear Me Down, Dewfall etc., two studio EPs ( Demo 2013 and Trapped In The Crowd), from which the single "Silence Of The World" was released, published on YouTube by the "BlankTV" channel and are part of the CD compilation "Ceccano Brucia", created by "Fiume In Piena", with the song "Seventh".
On 22 November 2016 they released the first demo under the name of "Sepik", "Ritual Mask", composed of three tracks.
In June 2019 Simone Mantua enters as the band's new guitarist, replacing old guitarist. In November 2019 they signed with Warhell Records. BlankTV. On January 15th 2020 the first full length "Sepik", recorded by Federico Garofali at "Squaring The circle Studio", will be released under the Warhell Records label.
