I Rotten Crows nascono a Roma nel Febbraio 2019, vedendo come fondatori il cantante Federico (a.k.a. Raven Necrolust) e il bassista Ruben.
Obiettivo della band è di partire dalle cupe radici della prima e seconda wave del black metal, per svilupparvi su un esoscheletro di elementi death,
senza però rinunciare ad un'eclettica sperimentazione, sonora e musicale. A Giugno 2019 esce la loro prima demo autoprodotta, intitolata "Unburied Voltures".
Nel corso dei mesi si aggiungono alla formazione i chitarristi Giordano e Davide e il batterista Fulvio, e a inizio 2020 questa formazione esegue il
suo primo live al Trecentosessanta Gradi, ispirandosi alle gelide atmosfere del bm classico in una serata multigenere accompagnati da Asma e Affondo.
In seguito subentra al posto di Giordano il nuovo chitarrista Carmine, con il quale inizia la lavorazione del nuovo album, che si chiamerà "The Other Side of The Sky".
