Neid formed in 2007 from the ashes of different bands active during the '90s in the Italian HC scene. After some thrash-grind EPs and split-CDs the group got a new line-up and oriented its sound towards a more brutal/grindcore stule. In 2010 the first full-lenght CD came out for ZAS and Hecatombe Records; it was recorded at Fear No One Studio, owned by Emiliano Natali (producer of Aborym). In 2016 the Italian combo signed for Sliptrick Records, in this same year "Atomoxetine", their second full-lenght, was released. In 2017 for their 10th year anniversary Neid published the EP "Noise Treatment".
Neid enlist members of Degenerhate (death-grind from Rome, Sliptrick Records) and Dilution (USA/Italy, thrash-grindcore).
In their latest EPs (one split 7'' with Agathocles and one mini CD) there are featuring guest artists from Wormrot (Earache Records), Hour of Penance and Eyeconoclast (both on Prosthetic Records).
During their career Neid took part in more than 200 shows throughout Europe (Italy, France, Spain, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania), Asia (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Japan), Russia (in 2010, 2013 and 2015 under Bike Booker Agency) and America, USA (2011 and 2016) and Cuba (Neid were the first Italian band in Cuban history to tour the entire country). Neid played with the American band Brutal Truth, The Accused, Nader Sadek (with members of Cryptopsy/Mayhem/Cattle Decapitation), Negative Approach, MDC (six gigs across Italy in July 2017) and Poison Idea. They shared the stage with other notable international groups like: Extreme Noise Terror (UK), Uncurbed (Swe), Cyness (Ger), Oi Polloi (Sco), Ratos de Porao (Bra), Tools of the Trade (Mal), Archagatus and Six Brew Bantha (both from Canada), Gutalax (Czech Republic).
Neid also played with Italian bands like Strenght Approach, Impact, Buffalo Grillz, Klasse Kriminale, Tsubo.
